Women Raising Mixed Race ChildrenÂ
This is a group for women who are raising bi-racal children. The purpose of the group is to explore the issues that directly impact bi-racial children. We explore our own identities as parents and look to identify ways to support our children as they navigate their individual and systemic issues during these complex and challenging times. Poverty Game
The Poverty Game is an experiential exercise in getting through a month while living in poverty on social assistance. Participants assume the role of one of the characters in the game. Each character has unique life circumstances that have created significiant barriers in their lives. The goal is to get through a month with the money provided by social assistance facing many of the barriers each character goes through in the course of the month.
